Challenge
In 2016, the first city Mental Health Plan was approved by the Barcelona City Council and key sector agents. In 2023, the second Mental Health Plan (2023-2030) was approved. These plans consider mental health from a broad perspective, that is, addressing both the protection and promotion of well-being and the social determinants of health, psychological distress, or the treatment of mental disorders themselves. The city mental health board, made up of all the key sector agents, is the governance body that leads the entire Plan.
Answer
In order to operationalize the different lines of action of the two Mental Health Plans as well as to articulate the different agents of the territory, mental health tables have been created for each of the ten districts of the city. From Spora Sinergies the technical secretariat is carried out aimed at taking advantage of the opportunities of the territory as well as to articulate actions that respond to the objectives of the Plan.
Almost 1,400 people have passed through the Mental Health Tables, many of whom have been constantly participating in their participation spaces. More than 280 sessions of the driving nuclei have been held and during these years, more than 80 projects have been closed from the Commissions and we have prepared more than 83 reports.
